So this is it. The fight is over.
Democrat Barack Hussein Obama Jr. made history as the first African-American President of the United States of America after walloping Republican John McCain in the just-concluded US general elections.
But unlike the world in my midst who are a jubilating lot — let alone Pinoys and Southeast Asians — I really could care less. Not really because of anything else, but because of some implications in my job and that of my fellows in the outsourcing industry (most know that Obama is a protectionist). I also didn’t go for McCain as he is obviously a continuation of the anti-people policies that Bush initiated, such as the war on terror.
But then again it’s too early to tell.
